A whitelist provides access to specified IP addresses and programs when your security policy would otherwise prevent that access. On top of the guarantees that SSL makes, whitelisting Braintree domains or IP addresses further ensures that requests from your server are indeed going to a trusted Braintree server.

Whitelisting domains or IP addresses can be useful, but it comes with additional overhead and complication. If you do not properly whitelist the correct URLs or IP addresses, you may be unable to process payments.

Braintree IP addresses are subject to change. To be notified of future changes, join our API announcement email list. We’ll send notice 4 weeks before changing any domains or IP addresses in the lists below.
